WE ARE RECRUITING! (2/4/08)
An opportunity has arisen for a Web Developer at FP Web Design. The successful candidate must have drive and enthusiasm and a great willingness to help us develop the business to the next level.

Day-to-day tasks include building (from the ground up) back end systems and working with our design team to implement bespoke database solutions for content management systems and e-commerce. You will also be required to do some SEO work and domain & server management.

You will ideally be educated to degree level, or have equivalent experience in the industry. You will also be required to have general awareness of current and emerging web technologies as well as awareness of design issues affecting coding strategy.

The successful candidate will be working with two web designers, so good interpersonal skills are essential. You will also need solid organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines. The required skill set includes Perl, XML, Javascript, HTML, CSS, SQL, unix and Apache.

A flare for design and experience in Flash and Photoshop is also preferred, but not essential.

Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm.
Salary neg. Group pension also offered.

A NEW MEMBER OF THE TEAM (10/9/07)
We have another new recruit at fpwebdesign. We welcome Adam Taylor to the design team, joining us straight from Telford College where he studied Illustration & Design.

NEW PROJECTS (20/8/07)
There were quite a few new projects under-taken in August, details of which will shortly be in out portfolio section.

WEB DEVELOPER (2/7/07)
The latest addition to the fpwebsign staff is David McQuillan, who joins us from Dundee University. Due to the increased demand for active content and the use of databases, we required a full time web developer. Welcome Dave.
